There is another book exchange community in Kuala Lumpur. Like other book exchanges, Kuala Lumpur Book Exchange (KLBE) is all about buying, selling and/or exchanging books. They started in 2013 with an online rental library under the name ‘Four Letr Word’. Despite their enthusiasm, the library didn’t really work well as hoped. Nevertheless their luck changed the following year when they changed their strategy from a rental library to a book exchange. In May 2014, they successfully conducted their very first book exchange event in Taman Desa, Kuala Lumpur.
How does one participate in a KLBE? Just follow these simple steps:
1. Meet them every first Sunday of the month.
Location : TM Point open parking, Taman Desa, Kuala Lumpur (map)
Time : 8.45 am – 10.45 am
2. Bring your book(s) for exchange. Books must be in acceptable condition.
3. Choose book(s) to take home.
Good news! There will be an extra book exchange in August. Here are the details:

ps: Please do not confuse this KLBE with the other KL book exchange club. They are run by different people but both of them have the same aim: to organise book marketplace for Kuala Lumpur-based readers.
